Artificial intelligence (AI) is already used in various fields of applications. AI is a promising technology to increase social well-being, enhance the common good and foster innovation. In order to achieve those goals, AI has to be trustworthy. According to the European Commission, AI should be lawful, ethical and robust. But what does this mean in practice and what are challenges to implement trustworthy solutions?
On October 1st, the Vienna Business Agency together with Keep-Current Meetup and TRUSTS invite you to join this meetup on trustworthy AI and voice your opinion about machine learning topics in general and in Austria in particular. We will discuss in groups topics such as ML trends & bias concerns, the AI’s true potential, and the role it plays in Austria. By brainstorming these topics with you, we hope to generate achievable action items which have a contribution potential for the Austrian industry.
Carina Zehetmaier (taxtastic), David Reichl (European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights), Stefan Gindl (Research Studios Austria, TRUSTS) will present different facets of trustworthiness in three keynotes. Afterwards, participants and speakers will discuss challenges and various aspects of trustworthy followed by networking and finger food.
