Einreichung bis 29. April
Mit dem Europa-Staatspreis wird außerordentliches Engagement von Bürger*innen sowie Organisationen zur Förderung des europäischen Bewusstseins und Europaverständnisses in Österreich ausgezeichnet. Der Preis holt Personen und Projekte vor den Vorhang, die zu einer offenen Auseinandersetzung über das gemeinsame Europa anregen und ist eine wichtige Anerkennung für die vielen Initiativen, die zum Verständnis der EU in Österreich und zum Zusammenhalt in Europa beitragen.
Der Europa-Staatspreis wird in den fünf Kategorien vergeben:
- Europa in der Gemeinde
- Europa in der Schule
- Kunst und Kultur
- Innovation und Digitalisierung
- Zukunft Europas
Er ist mit insgesamt 20.000 Euro dotiert. Das Preisgeld teilt sich auf die 5 Kategorien gleichmäßig auf. Beiträge können bis einschließlich 29. April 2022 online unter einreichungen@europastaatspreis.at eingereicht werden.
Eingereicht werden können Initiativen, Projekte, Publikationen bzw. Medienprodukte, die zur Erreichung der gemeinsamen Ziele der europäischen Integration, zur Diskussion über europäische Themen im Rahmen der „Konferenz zur Zukunft Europas“, zur Verständigung in Europa und zur Stärkung des Europabewusstseins in Österreich beitragen konnten. Sie sollten eine aktive Auseinandersetzung mit den vielfältigen Aspekten der europäischen Integration sowie mit Bedeutung und Mehrwert der Europäischen Union gefördert haben.
