The Gaia-X Association invites the Gaia-X open source software community to Gaia-X Hackathon #5, which will take place on 26 and 27 September 2022. The Gaia-X Hackathon is a two-day event where each day will be crowned with a presentation of showcases that use components and concepts of the Gaia-X architecture.

The Gaia-X Hackathon is organised as a community event at regular intervals by the Gaia-X Association, the Gaia-X Open-Source Software (OSS) Community Working Group and eco – Verband der Internetwirtschaft.

Goals

Increase Gaia-X knowledge in the community, encourage collaboration and enable participants to make use of current open-source implementations and codebase
Develop tools for creating/validating Self-Descriptions
Usage and further development of the Gaia-X Compliance Service and Gaia-X compliant Federation Services
Check & validate Gaia-X state (in regards to architecture, specifications, technology, processes and general terms & conditions) via the creation of service offerings and integration of use cases leveraging Gaia-X architecture and projects
